KUKA Robot KRC0002 - Internal Error

Internal Error

Internal KRL software test failure indicates a critical fault within the KRC4 control system core software. The robot enters a protected state with all motion inhibited and active commands blocked until the system is properly recovered.

Common Causes

  • Corrupted KRL runtime environment or system libraries in flash memory
  • Invalid program syntax or runtime violation in active KRL task execution
  • Memory overflow or stack corruption in real-time kernel
  • Hardware watchdog timeout indicating system processing failure
  • Incompatible software versions between KRC4 firmware and WorkVisual project

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Perform a controlled system shutdown and cold restart of the KRC4 control cabinet
  2. 2Verify KRC4 firmware version matches the WorkVisual project requirements
  3. 3Check system logs via KUKA smartPAD diagnostics menu for specific fault details
  4. 4Reload the KRL program from WorkVisual and recompile all modules without errors
  5. 5If error persists, perform a system reset via maintenance menu under SafeOperation protocols
  6. 6Contact KUKA service support with diagnostic data dump if issue remains unresolved
