Okuma OSP Alarm A 1725 - Impossible command issued during spindle synchronization
On a multi-process machine (sub-spindle or FTL specification), a spindle rotation command, S command, or rotation range command was issued while the spindles were in synchronized rotation mode. In synchronization the slave spindle follows the master, so independent speed or gear commands are illegal.

Okuma OSP Alarm A 1725 - Impossible command issued during spindle synchronization
Impossible command issued during spindle synchronization
On a multi-process machine (sub-spindle or FTL specification), a spindle rotation command, S command, or rotation range command was issued while the spindles were in synchronized rotation mode. In synchronization the slave spindle follows the master, so independent speed or gear commands are illegal.
Common Causes
Program error: M03/M04/M05/M19 issued during synchronized rotation
Program error: S command issued while synchronization is active
Program error: M40-M44 gear range command issued to a synchronized spindle
Troubleshooting Steps
1Read the code number shown with the alarm: code 1 = M03, M04, M05, or M19 designated during synchronized rotation; code 2 = S command designated during synchronized rotation; code 3 = M40-M44 designated while 1st spindle is in synchronized rotation mode; code 4 = M40-M44 designated while 2nd or sub spindle is in synchronized rotation mode
2Read the alarm code: 1 means an M03/M04/M05/M19 was commanded, 2 means an S command was commanded, 3 means M40-M44 was commanded to the 1st spindle in sync mode, and 4 means M40-M44 was commanded to the 2nd or sub spindle in sync mode.
3Find the offending block in the program; the manual's example shows the fix is to cancel synchronization with M150 before issuing the speed or gear command.
4Insert M150 (synchronization cancel) ahead of any M41/S command or gear change that must act on one spindle independently, as in the corrected program example.
5Re-establish synchronization with M151 only after the independent commands are complete.
6Dry-run the corrected section in single block to confirm the alarm no longer occurs.
