KRC0341

KUKA Robot KRC0341 - ACKN. SBXHPU CONNECTED

ACKN. SBXHPU CONNECTED

The teach pendant connection signal shows conflicting status information between the MPC interface and the SBXHPU safety box dual-channel monitoring system. This indicates a loss of synchronized safety validation and prevents the robot from operating in teach mode.

Common Causes

  • Teach pendant connector making intermittent contact due to wear or bent pins on the pendant interface
  • Misalignment or incomplete seating of the teach pendant in the docking station
  • Software synchronization failure between the MPC (Mobile Panel Controller) and SBXHPU requiring reconfiguration
  • Electrical noise on the teach pendant signal lines causing false state detection in one channel
  • Defective safety relay in the SBXHPU that monitors the dual-channel teach pendant detection circuit

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Remove the teach pendant and inspect the connector for visible damage, corrosion, or bent pin contacts
  2. 2Clean the teach pendant connector and the docking station contacts using a dry lint-free cloth
  3. 3Reinsert the teach pendant firmly into the docking station ensuring it seats completely with audible click
  4. 4Access the SBXHPU diagnostics through the KUKA smartPAD to verify both channel states independently
  5. 5Power cycle the KRC4 controller and SBXHPU module together to reset the dual-channel synchronization
  6. 6If the alarm persists, the SBXHPU safety relay must be replaced or the teach pendant interface cable must be re-seated in the MPC connector
