Causes and Fixes
Press PROG key, then select DIRECTORY soft key to display all registered programs. Verify the conflicting O-number exists in memory and note its size and date.
If the existing program can be deleted, select the program using cursor keys, press DELETE soft key, then EXEC to remove it. If program protection is active, check parameter 3202#0 (SPE) bit.
Verify program is not needed for production before deletion. Back up critical programs to external media first.
Check parameter 3107#1 (OPT) to verify overwrite function availability. If set to 1, use OPRT soft key in EDIT mode, select O SEARCH, input the program number, and enable overwrite before re-transferring.
Alternatively, rename the incoming program to an unused O-number before transfer. Check parameter 3107#5 (NE9) for 9-digit program number capability if using extended O-numbers.
