Fanuc Alarm 067 - CAN NOT ERROR IN MDI MODE
Alarm 067 occurs when a multiple repetitive canned cycle command (G70, G71, G72, or G73) is executed in MDI mode, but the program block that defines the cutting sequence is not stored in the CNC's program memory area. These cycles require a registered program sequence in memory to reference and repeat, which cannot be provided when commanded directly through MDI input.

SYSTEM ALARM 67
Fanuc alarm 067: SYSTEM ALARM 67. This alarm indicates a fault condition detected by the Fanuc control. Refer to the alarm number and name to identify the specific system or function involved.
Root Cause Summary
Alarm 067 occurs when a multiple repetitive canned cycle command (G70, G71, G72, or G73) is executed in MDI mode, but the program block that defines the cutting sequence is not stored in the CNC's program memory area. These cycles require a registered program sequence in memory to reference and repeat, which cannot be provided when commanded directly through MDI input.
Causes and Fixes
Verify the G-code being entered in MDI mode. Check if G70 (finish cycle), G71 (turning roughing), G72 (facing roughing), or G73 (pattern repeating) is being commanded.
Register the complete cycle program including the G70-G73 command and associated cutting sequence blocks into program memory (O-number program). Use EDIT mode to input or transfer the program via RS-232 or Ethernet.
Execute the program containing the multiple repetitive cycle from MEMORY or AUTO mode instead of MDI mode. Select the O-number program and run from the beginning or use block search to the desired line.
If testing individual moves is required, execute only the geometry definition blocks (non-cycle commands) in MDI mode, or use single block execution in MEMORY mode for the complete program.
