Siemens 300875 - Axis drive fixed link voltage of axes differ

Axis drive fixed link voltage of axes differ

An unequal fixed voltage MD1161: $MD_FIXED_LINK_VOLTAGE (DC link fixed voltage) has been found for axes of a drive module. Since a fixed voltage <> 0 replaces the measured DC link voltage value, but the DC link voltage value is measured only once for all axes of a drive module, the fixed voltage must be identical on all module axes before it is accepted Control reaction: Interface signals are set. Alarm display.

Safety

  • Drive/power/encoder circuit: hazardous voltages may remain in the DC link after power-off. Lock out / tag out, wait for discharge per the drive documentation, and use qualified personnel only.

Common Causes

  • An unequal fixed voltage MD1161: $MD_FIXED_LINK_VOLTAGE (DC link fixed voltage) has been found for axes of a drive module.
  • Since a fixed voltage <> 0 replaces the measured DC link voltage value, but the DC link voltage value is measured only once for all axes of a drive module, the fixed voltage must be identical on all module axes before it is accepted

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Please inform the authorized personnel/service department.
  2. 2Set the same fixed voltage (MD 1161) on all module axes.
  3. 3Alarm display showing cause of alarm disappears. No further operator action necessary
