Siemens 300907 - Axis drive tolerance for safe operational stop exceeded

Axis drive tolerance for safe operational stop exceeded

The drive is disabled via STOP A or STOP B. This blocks the pulses over the relay "Antrieb-IMP". Request: In monitoring cycle. The actual position has moved too far away from the setpoint/zero position (outside the zero speed window). The zero speed window is parameterized through MD 1330: $MD_SAFE_STANDSTILL_TOL (safe operational stop standstill tolerance) Control reaction: Mode group not ready. Channel not ready. NC Start disable in this channel. Interface signals are set. Alarm display. NC Stop on alarm. Channel not ready.

Safety

  • Safety Integrated alarm: work may only be carried out by qualified personnel. After any change to Safety Integrated settings or hardware, repeat the Safety Integrated acceptance test before returning the machine to service.
  • Drive/power/encoder circuit: hazardous voltages may remain in the DC link after power-off. Lock out / tag out, wait for discharge per the drive documentation, and use qualified personnel only.

Common Causes

  • The drive is disabled via STOP A or STOP B.
  • This blocks the pulses over the relay "Antrieb-IMP".
  • Request: In monitoring cycle.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Please inform the authorized personnel/service department.
  2. 2Check the safe standstill tolerance: does the value match the precision and control dynamics of the axis?
  3. 3If not, increase the tolerance.
  4. 4Switch control OFF - ON. 2-767
