- 1Check the machine's M-tool spindle specification: single-speed machines do not allow any spindle speed change command; two-speed machines allow only M241 and M242.
- 2For single-speed models, remove the spindle speed change command from the program as the manual directs.
- 3For two-speed models, use only M241 and M242 for the M-tool spindle gear change as the manual directs.
- 4Rerun the corrected program section to confirm the gear command is accepted.
