KUKA Robot KRC0267 - ANALOG OUTPUT : DELAY REDUCTION

ANALOG OUTPUT : DELAY REDUCTION

The analog output function with programmed delay cannot execute because the KRC4 controller does not have sufficient internal memory to maintain the requested delay buffer. This alarm occurs when the delay duration exceeds available system resources for output buffering.

Common Causes

  • Programmed delay value is too large relative to available KRC4 system memory allocation
  • Multiple analog output functions with delays are executing simultaneously, consuming shared memory
  • KRL program contains excessively long delay requests that exceed SafeOperation memory constraints
  • Controller firmware version has reduced memory overhead compared to current specifications
  • Real-time process load from other KRL tasks prevents adequate memory reservation for output delay

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Review the analog output delay specification in the KRL program and reduce the delay time if operationally acceptable
  2. 2Check the KRC4 system memory usage via the Diagnosis menu to identify memory availability and allocation
  3. 3Redistribute the analog output functions across multiple program cycles instead of using single large delay values
  4. 4Verify the controller firmware version matches the current KUKA specification sheet for memory capabilities
  5. 5Reduce the overall complexity of concurrent KRL tasks to free available memory for output delay processing
  6. 6If delay reduction is not possible, contact KUKA for hardware controller upgrade or memory expansion options
