Check Reference Point Status
Press REF key and observe the reference point menu. Look for axes showing red indicators or 'NOT REF' status.
Use soft key 'SHOW ALL AXES' to verify all configured axes are displayed
Execute Reference Point Search
Select unreferenced axes using arrow keys, then press NC START to begin reference point search sequence.
Ensure machine area is clear and all guards are closed before starting reference search
Verify DCM Activation
After successful referencing, check MOD function 'COLLISION MONITORING' to confirm DCM status shows 'ACTIVE'.
DCM activation may take 5-10 seconds after referencing is complete
