Fanuc 341 - Canned cycle axis error
Alarm 341 occurs when a canned cycle (G73, G74, G76, G80-G89) is programmed with an incorrect axis specification or missing required axis data. The control expects specific axis combinations for drilling/boring cycles and will reject commands that violate these rules, such as specifying a radial axis instead of the programmed plane axis or omitting mandatory depth parameters.

CANNED CYCLE AXIS ERROR
Fanuc PS program alarm 341: CANNED CYCLE AXIS ERROR. This alarm is triggered by an illegal or incorrectly formatted command in the part program, or a programming condition that the Fanuc control cannot execute.
Root Cause Summary
Alarm 341 occurs when a canned cycle (G73, G74, G76, G80-G89) is programmed with an incorrect axis specification or missing required axis data. The control expects specific axis combinations for drilling/boring cycles and will reject commands that violate these rules, such as specifying a radial axis instead of the programmed plane axis or omitting mandatory depth parameters.
Safety
Causes and Fixes
Locate the line number shown with the alarm and examine the canned cycle block (G73-G89).
Verify the current plane selection (G17=XY/Z-depth, G18=ZX/Y-depth, G19=YZ/X-depth) matches the programmed axes.
Ensure the drilling axis (depth axis) corresponds to the perpendicular axis of the selected plane and radial positioning uses the correct two axes.
Correct the axis letters in the canned cycle or add the appropriate plane selection code (G17/G18/G19) before the cycle.
