Siemens 300765 - Axis drive measurement of DC link voltage not possible

Axis drive measurement of DC link voltage not possible

If the fixed voltage MD 1161: $MD_FIXED_LINK_VOLTAGE(DC link fixed voltage) = 0, no DC link measurement is possible because the hardware version is wrong. The alarm can be reprogrammed in the MD ALARM_REACTION_CHAN_NOREADY (channel not ready) Control reaction: NC not ready. The NC switches to follow-up mode. Channel not ready. NC Start disable in this channel. Interface signals are set. Alarm display. NC Stop on alarm. Channel not ready.

Safety

  • Drive/power/encoder circuit: hazardous voltages may remain in the DC link after power-off. Lock out / tag out, wait for discharge per the drive documentation, and use qualified personnel only.

Common Causes

  • If the fixed voltage MD 1161: $MD_FIXED_LINK_VOLTAGE(DC link fixed voltage) = 0, no DC link measurement is possible because the hardware version is wrong.
  • The alarm can be reprogrammed in the MD ALARM_REACTION_CHAN_NOREADY (channel not ready)

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Please inform the authorized personnel/service department.
  2. 2Enter a value greater than zero in the machine data MD 1161: $MD_FIXED_LINK_VOLTAGE (DC link fixed voltage), or order a new hardware version of the control module.
