Okuma OSP Alarm B 2727 - Magazine rotation interlock

Magazine rotation interlock

A magazine rotation command was issued while the magazine rotating conditions were not met. The control blocks magazine rotation until the sub arm, tool extraction pin, tool ID reading arm, magazine pot clamp, frontal change position, and exchange arm are all in safe states.

Common Causes

  • Sub arm not in position for enabling magazine rotation
  • Tool extraction pin not at clamp position, or tool ID data reading arm not retracted
  • Magazine pot not unclamped, no pot at the frontal change position, or exchange arm in EAMG position

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Read the code number shown with the alarm: code 9 = Sub arm not in position for enabling magazine rotation; code 10 = Tool extraction pin at manual loading/unloading position not at clamp position; code 11 = Tool ID data reading arm not in retract position; code 12 = Magazine pot not unclamped; code 13 = No magazine pot at frontal change position; code 14 = Exchange arm in EAMG position; code 17 = Tool attachment not in data read position (left position)
  2. 2Read the code: 9 sub arm not in enabling position, 10 tool extraction pin at the manual loading/unloading position not at clamp, 11 tool ID data reading arm not retracted, 12 magazine pot not unclamped, 13 no magazine pot at the frontal change position, 14 exchange arm in EAMG position, 17 tool attachment not in data read position (left).
  3. 3For code 9 on LB35II-MATC-Y and LU45-MATC-Y, move the sub arm to the RS position or directed to RS before rotating the magazine.
  4. 4For codes 10 and 11, set the tool extraction pin to clamp position and retract the tool ID data reading arm.
  5. 5For codes 12-14 on LB15II-MATC-Y, unclamp the magazine pot, bring a pot to the frontal change position, and move the exchange arm out of EAMG position.
  6. 6For code 17, move the tool attachment to the data read position (left position) before rotating the magazine.
