KUKA Robot KRC0362 - ACKN. <axis> WITHOUT POWER

ACKN. <axis> WITHOUT POWER

This alarm occurs when an attempt is made to acknowledge (ACKN) a fault on a specified axis without the robot controller having power applied to that axis drive. The axis cannot be acknowledged or recovered from a faulted state if its servo power is not enabled. This is a safety and operational constraint that prevents uncontrolled axis movement during fault recovery.

Common Causes

  • Axis servo power disabled or not energized
  • Emergency stop (E-stop) active, cutting power to axis drives
  • Power supply failure or insufficient voltage to axis amplifier
  • Axis circuit breaker or contactor open
  • Faulty power distribution to the specific axis drive unit

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Verify that the robot controller main power supply is turned on and the green power indicator is illuminated
  2. 2Check that the Emergency Stop (E-stop) button is released and not engaged
  3. 3Ensure the axis servo power is enabled through the teach pendant or controller interface
  4. 4Verify all power connectors and cables to the affected axis drive are firmly seated
  5. 5Check the axis circuit breaker or motor contactor status and reset if tripped
  6. 6Once power is restored to the axis, retry the acknowledgment command through the teach pendant interface
