KRC0260

KUKA Robot KRC0260 - SERVO PARAMETERS NOT TRANSFERRED!

SERVO PARAMETERS NOT TRANSFERRED!

This alarm indicates that servo parameters failed to be successfully transmitted from the KRC controller to the DSE (Drive and Servo Electronics) module during initialization or parameter upload. The DSE requires current servo configuration data to properly control joint motors and amplifiers, and operation cannot proceed safely without confirmed parameter transfer.

Common Causes

  • Communication failure between KRC controller and DSE module due to loose or damaged connectors
  • DSE module not powered or not responding to controller commands
  • Corrupted or incompatible servo parameter file in the controller's memory
  • Firmware mismatch between KRC controller and DSE module versions
  • DSE module hardware malfunction or failure

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Power cycle the robot controller and DSE module completely, waiting 30 seconds between power-off and power-on
  2. 2Inspect all serial communication cables and connectors between KRC controller and DSE for damage, corrosion, or loose connections; reseat connectors firmly
  3. 3Verify DSE module is receiving power and check status LEDs on the DSE for proper operation indicators
  4. 4Check controller diagnostic logs and DSE communication status in the KUKA teach pendant under Diagnostics menu to identify specific communication errors
  5. 5Backup current configuration, then attempt to reload or reinitialize servo parameters through the controller's parameter transfer utility
  6. 6If alarm persists, contact KUKA service to verify firmware compatibility or replace the DSE module if hardware failure is suspected
