KUKA Robot KRC0093 - POWER FAIL

POWER FAIL

This alarm indicates a complete loss of mains power supply to the KUKA KRC control cabinet, resulting in immediate shutdown of all controller functions and robot operations. The power failure triggers safety protocols and halts execution of any active motion programs or I/O operations.

Common Causes

  • Main disconnect switch or circuit breaker opened or tripped
  • Blown fuse in the main power distribution circuit
  • Loss of external mains power supply from facility infrastructure
  • Damaged or disconnected power cable between mains and control cabinet
  • Faulty power supply module or internal cabinet power distribution failure

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Verify external mains power availability at the facility level and check utility supply status
  2. 2Inspect the main power cable connections to the KRC cabinet for corrosion, damage, or loose terminals
  3. 3Check the main disconnect switch position and reset any tripped circuit breakers on the control cabinet
  4. 4Verify that all fuses in the main power distribution section are intact and properly seated
  5. 5Confirm the internal power supply module status by checking for LED indicators and testing voltage outputs with a multimeter
  6. 6If power is restored but alarm persists, perform a cabinet power cycle by switching off for 30 seconds, then repower and check for additional fault codes
