HEIDENHAIN 140-0044 - Shut down and restart the control

Shut down and restart the control

The trial period has ended and the license is now inactive. Features that were temporarily available will continue working only until the next system restart.

Root Cause Summary

This alarm is triggered by the TNC control system when configuration data affecting the real-time operating system, hardware interface layer, or PLC runtime environment has been modified. The control cannot hot-load these changes and requires a complete reboot cycle to reinitialize the system with the new configuration parameters stored in non-volatile memory.

Safety

  • Refer to Heidenhain service manual
  • Ensure qualified technician performs repairs
