Siemens 75250 - RCTR: tool parameters incorrect interpreter
Alarm 75250 fires during NC block interpretation when the tool parameters loaded into the channel working memory do not match the tool data structure expected by the interpolator. This typically occurs due to mismatched tool offset data, invalid tool geometry parameters, or corrupted tool table entries that the NCK cannot validate during pre-processing.

Root Cause Summary
Alarm 75250 fires during NC block interpretation when the tool parameters loaded into the channel working memory do not match the tool data structure expected by the interpolator. This typically occurs due to mismatched tool offset data, invalid tool geometry parameters, or corrupted tool table entries that the NCK cannot validate during pre-processing.
Safety
Causes and Fixes
Verify tool table path: Navigate NCK → Diagnosis → Tool Management. Check SD43200 (TOOL_MAGAZINE parameter) points to correct tool table file location (typically /nc/d/toolfile.def). Confirm file exists and is readable.
Do not modify tool table while machine is in automatic mode or program is running.
Inspect tool offset entries: Access Tool Editor (HMI: Program → Tool → Tool Offsets). Verify the T-number called in NC program exists with complete data: tool length (DL), tool radius (DR), orientation angle (LORT), and tool type field populated. Empty or zero-filled offset records cause interpolation failure.
Reload tool table: From HMI Machine menu, select 'Load Tool Table' or use PLC interface (DB410 TOOL_CHANGE). Verify reload completes without error messages. Check channel working memory: Diagnostics → Channel Data → Tool Parameters for consistency.
Ensure no tool change operation is in progress before reloading.
