RCTR: incorrect MD configuration, error in MD

The following error was detected in the handling transformation machine data: TRAFO6_IRORO: The orientation entered in MD TRAFO6_TIRORO_RPY is impermissible. TRAFO6_TFLWP: The orientation entered in MD TRAFO6_TFLWP_RPY is impermissible. TRAFO6_TX3P3: The orientation entered in MD TRAFO6_TX3P3_RPY is impermissible. TRAFO6_MAIN_LENGTH_AB: The value entered in MD TRAFO6_MAIN_LENGTH_AB is incorrect Control reaction: Channel not ready. Alarm display.

Root Cause Summary

Alarm 75200 indicates invalid orientation data in the Handling Transformation (TRAFO6) machine data configuration. The RPY (Roll-Pitch-Yaw) angle values entered in MD parameters TRAFO6_TIRORO_RPY, TRAFO6_TFLWP_RPY, or TRAFO6_TX3P3_RPY exceed permissible ranges or contain mathematically invalid rotation matrix definitions that violate SINUMERIK's transformation geometry constraints.

Safety

  • Only qualified personnel should diagnose and clear control alarms; follow the machine builder's safety procedures and lockout/tagout where hardware work is required.

Causes and Fixes

  1. 1

    Navigate to Siemens HMI > Diagnosis > Machine Data > Channel %1 > Transformation (TRAFO6) parameters. Locate MD 32700 (TRAFO6_TIRORO_RPY), MD 32750 (TRAFO6_TFLWP_RPY), and MD 32800 (TRAFO6_TX3P3_RPY).

  2. 2

Verify each RPY triplet (Roll, Pitch, Yaw) is within ±180° range. Convert any values > 360° using modulo arithmetic: ValidAngle = (OriginalAngle MOD 360) - 180 if result > 180.

Negative angles must be explicitly entered; SINUMERIK does not auto-convert 270° to -90°.

  3. 3

Re-enter corrected RPY values and perform NC Reset (Ctrl+Shift+R) followed by NCK activation cycle. Monitor ALARM 75200 recurrence.
