KUKA Robot KRC0127 - ERRONEOUS OPTION DATA

ERRONEOUS OPTION DATA

The machine data loader has detected invalid or inconsistent configuration data in the KUKA control system option variables. This indicates a logical coherence issue or limit violation that prevents proper system initialization and may affect robot motion safety or functionality.

Common Causes

  • Machine data variable exceeds defined minimum or maximum limit thresholds configured in system parameters
  • Conflicting or contradictory values between related machine data parameters causing logical inconsistency
  • Corrupted machine data file due to incomplete file transfer or storage media failure
  • Incorrect manual editing of machine data XML or configuration files using external text editors
  • Option data from WorkVisual import containing incompatible values for the current KRC4 software version

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Retrieve the complete error log from the KRC4 control system to identify which specific variable contains the incorrect value
  2. 2Open the machine data configuration in WorkVisual and review the affected parameter against the valid range specified in the documentation
  3. 3Compare the current machine data against a known good configuration backup from a previous commissioning or reference system
  4. 4Correct the out-of-range value or resolve logical conflicts by editing the machine data in WorkVisual to comply with system constraints
  5. 5Reload the corrected machine data into the KRC4 controller using WorkVisual and verify the option data loader reports successful validation
  6. 6If problems persist, restore the machine data from a verified backup and perform full system calibration and testing
