KUKA Robot KRC0124 - Overvoltage

Overvoltage

Intermediate circuit voltage too high. Effect: Robot motion stops and all active commands are inhibited until fault is resolved.

Common Causes

  • Intermediate circuit voltage too high
  • Defective ballast resistor or ballast fuse
  • Defective power module
  • Brake ramp too steep causing regenerative energy

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Check ballast resistor and fuse
  2. 2Inspect power module
  3. 3Reduce braking ramp steepness in machine data
  4. 4Reset by pressing ACK button
