KUKA Robot KRC0067 - DRIVE FREE AXIS WORK ENVELOPE NO.

DRIVE FREE AXIS WORK ENVELOPE NO.

A free axis has entered a work envelope configured with MODE INSIDE STOP, or remains outside a work envelope with MODE INSIDE STOP, and the work envelope monitoring has been overridden or disabled. This indicates a violation of the monitored work envelope safety constraints.

Common Causes

  • Work envelope monitoring was manually disabled or overridden through SafeOperation settings
  • MODE INSIDE STOP work envelope was configured but the override flag was not properly reset after maintenance
  • Free axis moved beyond defined boundaries due to incorrect velocity limits in override mode
  • Work envelope definition was deleted or modified while override condition was still active
  • Safety parameter backup was restored with override flags that do not match current work envelope geometry

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Check the current work envelope monitoring status on the teach pendant under Diagnostics menu
  2. 2Review the active SafeOperation configuration and verify override conditions are appropriate for the task
  3. 3Disable any active work envelope monitoring overrides by setting MODE back to standard operation
  4. 4Confirm the work envelope definition in WorkVisual matches the physical robot setup and intended operation zone
  5. 5Redownload the safety configuration to the KRC4 controller to synchronize work envelope parameters
  6. 6Test the axis motion within the defined envelope boundaries and verify monitoring responds correctly
