Press MOD key, select 'Machine Parameters', navigate to 'Software Options' to view currently enabled options and verify if Option 143 (Component Monitoring) is listed as active.

Software options are displayed with their numerical codes - look specifically for option numbers in the 140-149 range for monitoring functions.

Verify License Key

Access machine parameter MP7440 (Software Options) to check the encoded license string and confirm component monitoring is included in the purchased software package.

Never attempt to modify MP7440 without proper authorization as this can disable the control.

Contact HEIDENHAIN for License Upgrade

If component monitoring is required, contact HEIDENHAIN service with your control serial number to purchase and install the component monitoring software option.

Have your TNC control's ID number ready (found in MOD > Machine Parameters > General) when contacting HEIDENHAIN.
