Fanuc Alarm PS0150 - Invalid Tool Group Number
PS0150 alarm occurs when the CNC detects a tool group number in the part program or tool life management table that exceeds the maximum allowed groups or references a non-existent group. This is directly related to parameter 13265 (maximum number of tool groups) and the tool life management data configuration in the CNC.

Safety
Causes and Fixes
Navigate to SYSTEM > PARAM and check parameter 13265 (maximum number of tool life management groups). Note the current value (range: 0-512 depending on CNC model and option).
Review the part program for G10 L3 commands or tool group references (H-code or D-code depending on system). Verify the group number does not exceed parameter 13265 value.
If more groups are needed, increase parameter 13265 value (requires parameter write enable bit 0/0 = 1). Power cycle the CNC after changing this parameter.
Changing parameter 13265 may require additional memory allocation. Verify CNC memory capacity before increasing significantly.
If group number is incorrect in program, edit the part program to use valid group numbers (1 through parameter 13265 value). Clear alarm with RESET and restart program.
