Fanuc Alarm 011 - No Feedrate Mode Set
Fanuc Alarm 011 occurs when the CNC detects a feedrate command (F word) or a move command requiring feedrate without an active modal feedrate group code (G01, G02, or G03). This typically results from program logic errors, missing modal group codes after program start or tool changes, or incorrect program editing that removes required G-codes.

Causes and Fixes
Press RESET to clear the alarm. Review the program at the alarm line shown on the CNC display (PROGRAM > CURRENT screen shows N-number or line where alarm occurred).
Check the program logic before the alarm point. Ensure G01, G02, or G03 appears before any F-word or axis movement command (X, Y, Z coordinates with feedrate required). Add the appropriate G-code if missing.
Verify that G00 (rapid traverse) is not active when F-word feedrate moves are commanded. G00 does not use feedrate and must be changed to G01/G02/G03 for controlled feed moves.
Check Parameter 3404 bit 1 (G00/G01 mode after reset). If set to 1, the system defaults to G00 after reset/startup, requiring explicit G01/G02/G03 in programs. Confirm program includes feedrate mode codes after initialization blocks.
