An attempt has been made to activate a safety function although no such module is plugged in Control reaction: Mode group not ready. Channel not ready. NC Start disable in this channel. Interface signals are set. Alarm display. NC Stop on alarm.

Power down the machine and physically verify the installed drive modules in the cabinet. Check the module label for '611D Performance' (includes dual encoder inputs and safety relay module).
Verify system is in safe state and all servo power is discharged before accessing cabinet.

Access Diagnostics > Hardware Configuration in HMI or NCK menu. Verify the detected module type matches the physical hardware. If mismatch exists, re-seat the module and perform a system restart.

If Standard module is confirmed, either replace with 611D Performance module or disable safety functions by clearing MD 30380 (SsiActivateAxis) = 0 for the affected axis.
Replacing drive modules requires re-commissioning of axis tuning parameters (MD 32010-32020 velocity/acceleration gains).
