Boot into service mode and check the NCK file system integrity using the NCK diagnostics menu (Service > System Data > NCK).
Document all alarm history and system settings before performing file system operations.
If corruption is detected, restore the notebook from a known good backup using Archive/Restore functions in Commissioning mode.
Ensure you have a valid backup before attempting restoration. All current notebook data will be overwritten.
If no backup exists, reinitialize the notebook memory through MD18360 (MM_NOTEBOOK_SIZE) and reload the NC program to recreate necessary variables.
Reinitialization will erase all notebook contents. Record critical parameter values beforehand.
