KRC0811

KUKA Robot KRC0811 - “ENDFOR” MISSING 2147

“ENDFOR” MISSING 2147

This syntax error occurs when a FOR loop in the KRL program is missing its closing ENDFOR statement. The compiler detected an unclosed loop structure during program parsing, preventing successful compilation of the affected module.

Common Causes

  • FOR loop statement without corresponding ENDFOR terminator
  • ENDFOR statement deleted or commented out accidentally
  • Incorrect indentation or nesting causing parser to miss the ENDFOR
  • Multiple nested FOR loops with missing ENDFOR in inner loop
  • Text editor corruption or incomplete file save during editing

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Open the KRL source file indicated in the alarm message in the KUKA IDE or text editor
  2. 2Locate the FOR loop referenced near line 2147 or in the <object name> specified
  3. 3Count all FOR statements and verify each has a corresponding ENDFOR at the same indentation level
  4. 4Add the missing ENDFOR statement before the next logical block or end of function
  5. 5Check for properly matched loop nesting by reviewing indentation and loop boundaries
  6. 6Save the file and recompile the program to verify the syntax error is resolved
