KUKA Robot KRC0809 - “ENDLOOP” MISSING 2145

“ENDLOOP” MISSING 2145

This alarm indicates that a closing ENDLOOP statement is missing in the KRL program, causing a syntax error during compilation or interpretation. The ENDLOOP keyword is required to properly terminate every LOOP control structure in the program.

Common Causes

  • LOOP statement without corresponding ENDLOOP keyword
  • Accidental deletion or commenting out of ENDLOOP statement
  • Nested LOOP structures where one or more ENDLOOP statements are missing
  • Copy-paste error resulting in incomplete loop block
  • Incorrect indentation or formatting that hides missing ENDLOOP

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Open the KRL program file referenced in the alarm message
  2. 2Locate all LOOP statements in the program and verify each has a corresponding ENDLOOP
  3. 3Check for nested LOOP structures and ensure every LOOP has its own ENDLOOP
  4. 4Review recent edits or changes made to the program for accidental deletions
  5. 5Use the KRC editor's syntax highlighting to identify unclosed loop structures
  6. 6Add the missing ENDLOOP statement at the appropriate location and recompile the program
