KUKA Robot KRC0398 - <object> CANNOT BE PROCESSED

<object> CANNOT BE PROCESSED

This alarm indicates that an attempt has been made to process or assign an object that has already been previously assigned or allocated in the KRC controller. The alarm occurs when the system detects a duplicate assignment operation on an already-registered object, preventing the reprocessing of the same resource.

Common Causes

  • Attempting to initialize or assign a variable that has already been declared in the current scope
  • Multiple declarations of the same object name within a KRL program without proper deallocation
  • Recursive function calls attempting to reassign the same global object without clearing previous assignment
  • FIFO or queue buffer attempting to add an object that is already enqueued
  • Configuration file or database entry pointing to an object that has already been loaded into memory

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Review the KRL program source code to identify where the duplicate object assignment occurs
  2. 2Check variable declarations and ensure each object is declared only once per scope level
  3. 3Verify that objects are properly deallocated or cleared before reassignment using appropriate cleanup routines
  4. 4Examine FIFO queue operations and implement dequeue or removal operations before re-adding objects
  5. 5Check the system configuration and database entries for duplicate object references or naming conflicts
  6. 6Clear the controller memory cache and reload the program, then perform a cold restart of the KRC controller if necessary
