KUKA Robot KRC0144 - SET ROBOT NUMBER - PROGRAM ROBOT NAME

SET ROBOT NUMBER - PROGRAM ROBOT NAME

This alarm indicates that the robot number or robot name has not been properly configured in the KRC controller system. The robot identification parameters must be set during initial system setup or configuration before the controller can operate normally. This is a configuration-level alarm that prevents normal robot operation until the required robot identification information is entered.

Common Causes

  • Robot number not assigned during initial controller commissioning
  • Robot name field left blank in the configuration file
  • Corrupted or incomplete system configuration data
  • Controller reset to factory defaults without reconfiguration
  • Missing or incorrect entries in the robot data declaration section of the program

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Access the KRC controller configuration interface through the teach pendant or KCP interface
  2. 2Navigate to System Configuration or Robot Settings menu to verify robot number and name parameters
  3. 3Enter the appropriate robot number (typically a numeric identifier specific to the robot model)
  4. 4Enter the robot name in the designated configuration field matching the system documentation
  5. 5Save the configuration changes and verify that all robot identification parameters are properly stored
  6. 6Perform a controller restart or power cycle to apply the new configuration and clear the alarm
