Siemens 62300 - Block : Check number of empirical value memory
Alarm 62300 indicates a mismatch or corruption in the empirical value memory (servo tuning/compensation data) for the specified channel and block. This typically occurs when the NCK cannot verify the integrity of stored servo parameter sets or when empirical values exceed configured memory allocation limits.

Root Cause Summary
Alarm 62300 indicates a mismatch or corruption in the empirical value memory (servo tuning/compensation data) for the specified channel and block. This typically occurs when the NCK cannot verify the integrity of stored servo parameter sets or when empirical values exceed configured memory allocation limits.
Safety
Causes and Fixes
Navigate to Siemens HMI > Diagnostics > Parameters > Machine Data and locate MD30370 for the affected channel. Document the current maximum empirical value count.
Check NCK > Servo > Empirical Values menu to count active compensation records. If count exceeds MD30370 setting, delete unused or obsolete empirical value sets.
Deleting empirical values will reset servo compensation for affected operating points.
If legitimate tuning data must be retained, increase MD30370 value incrementally (typical range 10-100), then perform a warm restart (POWER ON/OFF cycle) to reload the servo memory.
