Safety
Causes and Fixes
Access the NCK/PLC diagnostics via HMI: Diagnostics > Channels > Channel Status. Verify all secondary channels (Channel 2, 3, etc.) display 'RESET' status.
Do not force RESET if a secondary channel is executing a program; stop the program first via NC STOP command.
If secondary channel shows ACTIVE/RUN status, issue RESET via HMI or send NC command M30 + cycle stop to clear the channel.
Verify machine parameter MD10210 (CfgMaxNumChannels) matches your actual channel configuration. Mismatch between configured and physical channels can cause status confusion.
