Siemens 300790 - Axis , drive Changeover speed/velocity too small

Axis, drive Changeover speed/velocity too small

With the selected setting of MD1466, the induced voltage is too small in the lower speed range in order to be able to guarantee safe, sensorless operation. With the specified speed, the induced voltage must at least reach 40 V (phase-to-phase, effective) Control reaction: NC not ready. The NC switches to follow-up mode. Channel not ready. NC Start disable in this channel. Interface signals are set. Alarm display. NC Stop on alarm. Channel not ready.

Safety

  • Drive/power/encoder circuit: hazardous voltages may remain in the DC link after power-off. Lock out / tag out, wait for discharge per the drive documentation, and use qualified personnel only.

Common Causes

  • With the selected setting of MD1466, the induced voltage is too small in the lower speed range in order to be able to guarantee safe, sensorless operation.
  • With the specified speed, the induced voltage must at least reach 40 V (phase-to-phase, effective)

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1The following must be ensured: Rotary synchronous machine : MD1466 > 40000 / MD1114 Linear machine : MD1466 > 1386 / MD1114 Asynchronous machine : MD1466 >= 150 rpm
  2. 2Clear alarm with the RESET key in all channels. Restart part program. 2-761
