Siemens 300778 - Axis drive generator mode: converter frequency rotor position

Axis drive generator mode: converter frequency rotor position

When selecting the rotor position identification (MD1011 bit 12 or bit 13) only converter frequencies (MD1100) of 4 kHz/8 kHz are permissible. - Modify MD 1011: $MD_ACTUAL_VALUE_CONFIG (actual value sensing configuration IM) - Modify MD 1100: $MD_PWM_FREQUENCY (pulse width modulation frequency) The alarm can be reprogrammed in the MD ALARM_REACTION_CHAN_NOREADY (channel not ready) Control reaction: NC not ready. The NC switches to follow-up mode. Channel not ready. NC Start disable in this channel. Interface signals are set. Alarm display. NC Stop on alarm. Channel not ready.

Safety

  • Drive/power/encoder circuit: hazardous voltages may remain in the DC link after power-off. Lock out / tag out, wait for discharge per the drive documentation, and use qualified personnel only.

Common Causes

  • When selecting the rotor position identification (MD1011 bit 12 or bit 13) only converter frequencies (MD1100) of 4 kHz/8 kHz are permissible.
  • - Modify MD 1011: $MD_ACTUAL_VALUE_CONFIG (actual value sensing configuration IM) - Modify MD 1100: $MD_PWM_FREQUENCY (pulse width modulation frequency) The alarm can be reprogrammed in the MD ALARM_REACTION_CHAN_NOREADY (channel not ready)

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Please inform the authorized personnel/service department.
  2. 2Change the converter frequency (MD 1100) or deselect rotor position identification (MD1011 bit 12 or bit 13).
  3. 3Modify MD 1011: $MD_ACTUAL_VALUE_CONFIG (actual value sensing configuration IM) - Modify MD 1100: $MD_PWM_FREQUENCY (pulse width modulation frequency)
  4. 4Clear alarm with the RESET key in all channels. Restart part program
