Siemens 300742 - Axis drive voltage/frequency mode: converter frequency invalid

Axis drive voltage/frequency mode: converter frequency invalid

Only converter frequencies (MD 1100: $MD_PWM_FREQUENCY (pulse width modulation frequency)) of 4 kHz or 8 kHz are permissible in V/f mode (selected via MD 1014: $MD_UF_MODE_ENABLE) Control reaction: NC not ready. The NC switches to follow-up mode. Channel not ready. NC Start disable in this channel. Interface signals are set. Alarm display. NC Stop on alarm.

Safety

  • Drive/power/encoder circuit: hazardous voltages may remain in the DC link after power-off. Lock out / tag out, wait for discharge per the drive documentation, and use qualified personnel only.

Common Causes

  • Only converter frequencies (MD 1100: $MD_PWM_FREQUENCY (pulse width modulation frequency)) of 4 kHz or 8 kHz are permissible in V/f mode (selected via MD 1014: $MD_UF_MODE_ENABLE)

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Please inform the authorized personnel/service department.
  2. 2Check and, if necessary, correct the torque adaptation factor MD 1100: $MD_PWM_FREQUENCY (pulse width modulation frequency) or remedy the problem by deselecting V/f mode MD 1014: $MD_UF_MODE_ENABLE.
  3. 3Switch control OFF - ON. 2-735
