Siemens 16931 - Subprograms: action <ALNX> maximum nesting depth exceeded

Subprograms: action <ALNX> maximum nesting depth exceeded

Various actions can cause the current procedure to be interrupted. Depending on the action, asynchronous subroutines (ASUBs) are activated. These ASUBs can be interrupted in the same manner as the user program. Unlimited nesting depth is not possible for ASUBs due to memory limitations. Example: In the case of an approach block in a repositioning procedure do not interrupt repeatedly, instead wait until processing is completed. Possible actions are: mode change, SlashOn/Off, overstoring Control reaction: Interface signals are set. Alarm display. NC Stop on alarm. Alarms.

Safety

  • Only qualified personnel should diagnose and clear control alarms; follow the machine builder's safety procedures and lockout/tagout where hardware work is required.
