Navigate to Start-up >> Log.drive >> Conn. menu in the HMI interface

Identify the conflicting drive connection in the connection list that needs to be removed

Select the specific connection entry and use the Delete function to remove it

Ensure you are deleting the correct connection as this will remove the logical assignment between axis/spindle and drive

Confirm deletion and perform a power cycle (Power OFF/ON) to activate the configuration change

Save any critical machine data before power cycling the control

Document current drive connection assignments before making changes (take screenshots or note parameters)

Access Start-up >> Log.drive >> Conn. and delete all connections related to the drives being reconfigured

Deleting wrong connections may affect unrelated axes - verify each connection before deletion

After deletion, navigate to the drive configuration area and establish new connection assignments as required

Verify new connections are correctly assigned, save configuration, and restart the system

Enter Start-up >> Log.drive >> Conn. and review all listed connections for duplicates or unrecognized entries

Cross-reference connection entries with MD1000-MD1099 (axis assignment parameters) to identify orphaned connections

Delete orphaned or duplicate connection entries one at a time, verifying after each deletion

Keep a backup of machine data (MD/GSD) before deleting multiple connections

Recreate proper connections if necessary, perform NCK reset (Level 2), and verify all axes/spindles respond correctly

NCK reset will clear certain volatile data - ensure all modifications are saved
