Backup and Replace CF Card

If write speeds are consistently slow, backup data and replace the CF card with a new industrial-grade card.

Check Active Processes

Navigate to HMI → Diagnostics → System Info to view active file operations and background processes.

Wait for Queue Completion

Allow all pending storage operations to complete before initiating new program saves.

Disable Background Archiving

Temporarily disable automatic data archiving in machine data MD11210 (ARCHIVE_ENABLE) if frequent conflicts occur.

Schedule automatic archiving during non-production hours to avoid conflicts

Check Network Connection

Verify Ethernet connection status in HMI → Commissioning → Network → Ethernet interface.

Test Network Path

Navigate to the network storage location manually to verify accessibility and response time.

Adjust Network Timeouts

Increase network timeout values in machine data MD11200 (NETWORK_TIMEOUT) if network is consistently slow.

Coordinate network changes with IT department to avoid security issues

Check System Load

Clear Temporary Files

Delete temporary files and old program versions to free up memory and reduce fragmentation.

Restart Control System

Perform a controlled restart to clear memory fragmentation and reset system resources.
