KUKA Robot KRC0710 - “END”/“ENDFCT”/“ENDDAT” NOT ALLOWED HERE 2046

“END”/“ENDFCT”/“ENDDAT” NOT ALLOWED HERE 2046

This alarm indicates that an END, ENDFCT, or ENDDAT statement has been used in an invalid location within the KRL program structure. These statements are only permitted at specific syntactic positions and cannot appear in the current context.

Common Causes

  • END statement placed outside of a program, function, or data block definition
  • ENDFCT statement used outside of a function declaration
  • ENDDAT statement used outside of a data block or structure definition
  • Nested or misplaced END/ENDFCT/ENDDAT keywords due to improper block structure
  • Incomplete or malformed program syntax preceding the END statement

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Review the KRL program structure around the error location to verify correct block nesting
  2. 2Confirm that all program/function/data blocks are properly opened before their corresponding END statements
  3. 3Check for missing opening statements (DEF, DEFFCT, DEFDAT) that correspond to each END/ENDFCT/ENDDAT
  4. 4Verify that END/ENDFCT/ENDDAT statements are at the correct indentation level and closing the appropriate block
  5. 5Remove any duplicate or orphaned END/ENDFCT/ENDDAT statements
  6. 6Recompile the program after corrections and verify syntax is valid using the KRC editor
