KUKA Robot KRC0701 - ONLY COMMENT MAY BE ENTERED AFTER “ENDDAT” 2037

ONLY COMMENT MAY BE ENTERED AFTER “ENDDAT” 2037

This alarm occurs when the KRL program parser encounters invalid syntax after the ENDDAT statement in a data declaration section. Only comment lines (preceded by;) are permitted following ENDDAT, as it marks the end of the data definition block.

Common Causes

  • Executable code or variable declarations placed after ENDDAT statement
  • Missing semicolon (;) before a comment line following ENDDAT
  • Incorrect statement syntax after ENDDAT that is not formatted as a comment
  • ENDDAT statement used in wrong context or section of the program
  • Extra spaces or special characters before comment declaration after ENDDAT

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Review the KRL source file and locate the line number referenced in the error message
  2. 2Verify that only comment lines (starting with ;) appear after the ENDDAT statement
  3. 3Remove any executable code, function calls, or variable declarations that follow ENDDAT
  4. 4Ensure all comments after ENDDAT are properly prefixed with a semicolon (;)
  5. 5Check that ENDDAT is placed in the correct location within the data declaration section
  6. 6Recompile the KRL program after correcting the syntax errors
