KRC0658

KUKA Robot KRC0658 - MACID IN USE 1612

MACID IN USE 1612

This alarm indicates that a Motion Access ID (MACID) is already in use and cannot be assigned to another object or resource. The system detected an attempt to use a MACID that is currently allocated to another process or program object, preventing the operation from proceeding.

Common Causes

  • Multiple program objects attempting to use the same MACID simultaneously
  • MACID not properly released after previous program execution
  • Duplicate MACID declarations in different program modules
  • Concurrent access attempts to the same motion resource by different tasks
  • Software conflict where a background task still holds the MACID allocation

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Stop all running programs and clear any background processes that may be holding MACID allocations
  2. 2Review the KRL program code to identify which objects are attempting to use the same MACID
  3. 3Ensure each motion resource or object has a unique MACID assignment in the program structure
  4. 4Verify that MACID resources are properly released at program termination or task completion
  5. 5Restart the robot controller and reload the affected program modules to reset MACID states
  6. 6If issue persists, perform a controlled robot shutdown and restart to clear all motion access allocations
