KUKA Robot KRC0575 - Selected axis is not adjustable

Selected axis is not adjustable

This alarm occurs when an attempt is made to perform axis mastering (calibration) on a robot axis that is currently inactive or disabled. The KRC controller prevents mastering operations on axes that are not in an operational state, as this could result in incorrect calibration data and potential safety hazards.

Common Causes

  • Selected axis is disabled in the robot's configuration or safety settings
  • Axis power supply is not enabled or disconnected
  • Robot is in teach mode or safe state where certain axes are intentionally disabled
  • Axis brake is engaged, preventing normal operation and mastering procedures
  • Incorrect axis selection - attempting to master a non-existent or auxiliary axis

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Verify that the correct axis number is selected for mastering in the KRC pendant or teach interface
  2. 2Check the robot configuration file to ensure the selected axis is enabled and defined in the system parameters
  3. 3Confirm that all axis power supplies are properly connected and enabled through the main controller cabinet
  4. 4Release any engaged axis brakes using the brake release procedure outlined in your robot's maintenance manual
  5. 5Ensure the robot is in the correct operational mode (not in safety stop or restricted mode) by checking the controller status indicators
  6. 6If the issue persists, perform a controller diagnostics check and review the axis health status in the KRC diagnostics menu
