KRC0110

KUKA Robot KRC0110 - SERVOFILE CONFIGURATION ** DOES NOT FIT THE ** RELEASE **

SERVOFILE CONFIGURATION ** DOES NOT FIT THE ** RELEASE **

The servo file configuration contains drive servo parameters that are not supported by the current firmware version running in the KRC4 system. This incompatibility prevents the servo file from being properly applied and will cause operational failures.

Common Causes

  • Servo file was created for a newer firmware release than the one currently installed on the KRC4
  • Servo configuration file was manually edited with unsupported parameter values or syntax
  • Drive servo specifications do not match the physical axes installed on the robot
  • Firmware downgrade was performed without updating the servo file to match the older release
  • Third-party or customized servo parameters contain proprietary settings not recognized by standard firmware

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Verify the current KRC4 firmware version using the KUKA smartPAD system information menu
  2. 2Check the servo file header and metadata to confirm its intended firmware release version
  3. 3Compare the servo file parameters against official KUKA documentation for the installed firmware release
  4. 4Update the KRC4 firmware to the latest stable release using WorkVisual firmware management tools
  5. 5If firmware update is not possible, regenerate the servo file using WorkVisual matching the current firmware version
  6. 6If incompatibility persists, restore a known good servo file backup and verify robot operation before retrying parameter updates
