Encoder Cable Failure

Encoder cable defective or loose connection. Effect: Robot motion stops and all active commands are inhibited until fault is resolved.

Common Causes

  • Encoder cable defective or loose connection
  • Supply voltage missing at encoder
  • RDW defective
  • Encoder defective
