HEIDENHAIN 130-0195 -

This TNC7/TNC 640 error (130-0195) relates to ''. No further time job could be started.

Root Cause Summary

This alarm is triggered when the TNC's real-time operating system cannot allocate additional task scheduler resources for time-critical PLC jobs. The root cause is typically an overloaded or poorly optimized PLC program that exceeds the control's capacity for concurrent time-dependent operations, or system-level corruption affecting the task management kernel.

Safety

  • Refer to Heidenhain service manual
  • Ensure qualified technician performs repairs

Causes and Fixes

  1. 1

    Access PLC Task Diagnostics

Press MOD key → select 'System' → 'PLC' → 'Diagnostics' or 'Task Overview'. Review active cyclic tasks and their execution times. Look for tasks with unusually high cycle times or excessive quantity of timed OBs.

On iTNC 530/TNC 620/640, you can also access detailed PLC load information via MOD → Settings → System Configuration → PLC Runtime.

  2. 2

    Review PLC Program Structure

Contact machine manufacturer for PLC source code review. Identify cyclic OBs (organization blocks) with time-critical triggering, particularly OB10-OB38 which are time-interrupt driven. Check if multiple fast-cycle OBs are running simultaneously.

Do not modify PLC program without machine manufacturer authorization and complete system backup, as this can affect safety functions.

  3. 3

    Optimize or Consolidate PLC Tasks

Work with machine builder to consolidate redundant time jobs, increase cycle times for non-critical tasks, or move operations to the main PLC cycle (OB1) instead of using separate timed interrupts.

Moving routine checks from 10ms interrupt OBs to 50ms or 100ms cycles can significantly reduce scheduler load without affecting machine performance.

DIY Feasiblemedium confidence

Call a technician if:

  • ·Hardware diagnostics show RAM failure
  • ·System restore required
  • ·Alarm persists after all software troubleshooting

Prevention

  • Schedule regular system restarts
  • Monitor program complexity and memory usage
  • Keep system software updated
  • Maintain clean electrical environment

Common Mistakes

  • Ignoring memory warnings before alarm occurs
  • Running overly complex programs without memory monitoring
  • Not performing regular system maintenance
  • Attempting hardware repairs without proper ESD protection
