Haas 201 - PARAMETER CRC ERROR | Haas CNC Alarm
PARAMETER CRC ERROR
This alarm indicates the MOCON board has detected a checksum mismatch when verifying the integrity of stored machine parameters in non-volatile memory. The control uses CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) to verify parameter data has not been corrupted due to memory failure, electrical noise, or data write errors. Machine operation is halted because parameter corruption can cause unpredictable and unsafe machine behavior.

Causes and Fixes
SAFETY FIRST - Stop machine operation
Press EMERGENCY STOP and ensure machine is in a safe state before proceeding with diagnostics.
Locate error
Check the alarm message for the line/block number and review that part of the program. Note the exact error location.
Fix code
Correct the invalid G-code, syntax, or parameter based on the machine's programming manual. Verify changes in simulation mode first.
Test program safely
Clear the alarm, run program in simulation mode first, then test at reduced feedrate with operator present.
