Siemens 10767 - Block processing with tilt angle unequal 0 not possible

Block processing with tilt angle unequal 0 not possible

When face milling with a torus milling cutter, the tilt angle must be 0 if the surface normal vector and the tool orientation include an angle that is less than the limiting angle given by the MD21082 $MC_CUTCOM_PLANE_ORI_LIMIT, i.e. in this case only the lead angle may be unequal to 0 Control reaction: Correction block is reorganized. Local alarm reaction. Interface signals are set. Alarm display. NC Stop on alarm at block end.

Safety

  • Only qualified personnel should diagnose and clear control alarms; follow the machine builder's safety procedures and lockout/tagout where hardware work is required.
