Safety
Causes and Fixes
Access tool management via HMI: Services > Tool Management > Tool List. Review all loaded tools and their status.
Check machine data MD18102 $MN_MM_NUM_TOOL (number of tools) and MD18104 $MN_MM_NUM_CUTTING_EDGES_IN_TOA (cutting edges) to determine configured limits.
Delete unused, duplicate, or obsolete tools from the tool list to free up tool management slots. Document removed tools before deletion.
Ensure tools being deleted are not currently in use or referenced in active NC programs
Reset the alarm and restart the NC program. If persistent, consider increasing MD18102 value if system license allows.
