KUKA Robot KRC0821 - JUMP DESTINATION NOT DECLARED LOCALLY 2157

JUMP DESTINATION NOT DECLARED LOCALLY 2157

This alarm occurs when a JUMP or GOTO statement references a label that has not been declared locally within the current program scope. The jump destination label must be defined in the same KRL module or function where the jump instruction is executed.

Common Causes

  • Label is declared in a different module or function than where the JUMP statement is located
  • Label name is misspelled in the JUMP or GOTO instruction
  • Label was deleted or removed from the source code but the JUMP instruction still references it
  • Attempting to jump across scope boundaries between different KRL program modules
  • Label is declared after the JUMP statement but outside the same logical block or subroutine

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1Verify that the label referenced in the JUMP or GOTO statement is spelled exactly as declared in the code
  2. 2Confirm the label exists and is declared locally within the same KRL module or function as the JUMP instruction
  3. 3Check that the label declaration has not been accidentally deleted or commented out in the source code
  4. 4Review the program structure to ensure the label and JUMP statement are in the same scope level
  5. 5If the jump must reference a label in another module, refactor the code to use function calls or inter-module communication instead
  6. 6Recompile the KRL program after making corrections to ensure the changes are reflected in the runtime environment
